Here is an excerpt from the March 2011 newsletter:
If God has not given us the spirit of fear, then where does it come from? If God has given us the spirit of power, love and a sound mind, then why do we operate without power and with hate sometimes and why do we entertain worry? Could it be that this is a primary tool of the enemy, used to keep us in bondage? As believers in Christ we must believe II Timothy 1:7 to make it our reality and to do away with fear. Someone once told me that fear is an acronym.
Forget
Everything
And
Run
I laughed when I first heard it because flight is not in my nature but I think it is such a powerful observation. Most times we choose flight instead of fight because we are fearful and believe that we are not equipped to fight. The other times when we fight it is because we are backed into a corner with no alternative or visible way of escape. We do not have to be fearful because in every temptation that arises God provides a way of escape:
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (I Corinthians 10:13)
God is always there for us as long as we have breath. We do not have to fear anything. He gives us new mercies every morning and it is because of them that we are blessed to wake up:
“It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23).
Perfect love casts out all fear; Isn’t God perfect Love? We do not have to fear Satan or his minions because we know their end and they know that we know. Their end is the lake of fire (Revelations 20:10). They are scrambling and are desperate to drag us down with them. Their destiny is sure and will not change. What is your destiny? I am destined to rule with Christ. The enemy’s oppression comes only because they want to steal, kill and destroy but Christ came to give us life (more abundantly).

"O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger." Psalm 8:1-2 (KJV)
